I've always loved mixing and mashing things, much to the chagrin of my mother, who never knew what was really in each shampoo bottle.
Later, my boyfriend suffered from neurodermatitis. A cocoa butter cream that he had brought back from his holiday in Mauritius helped him a lot. But when that ran out, I was left with only those creams, which did help, but only brought short-term relief. I tried everywhere I could to get this cream. During a particularly bad attack, I even called the producer in America who produced the cream exclusively for Mauritius (up to this point, it was pure detective work :D ), but unfortunately they weren't willing to ship a box to Germany. It had something to do with permits and German customs. And this cream wasn't available in America; my sister had scoured the drugstores especially for it.
So in the end, I sat down and developed the first cocoa butter-based lotion recipe, with resounding success.
I subsequently mixed hair butters for myself and started testing care products for Yuki. The first paw protector became rock hard :D
And as is often the case when you lie awake at night or have nothing to do on even longer car journeys, I came up with the idea of developing an entire natural product line. Why should only Yuki benefit from my hobby and my experiences, especially since several patients had already benefited from them?
And tadaa: Yuki cares was born.
Starting with four simple products, the range will soon expand further. We are currently developing special dog soaps that gently cleanse the coat and are free of fragrances and preservatives, yet leave your dog feeling beautifully moisturized.
All Yuki cares products are always fragrance-free, and we only use essential oils where we feel they are beneficial. They are preserved with natural vitamin E, which delays oxidation and thus rancidity. Vitamin E is also good for the skin. All products are 100% handmade for your animals.
With your feedback, we can continually improve our products. If you have any ideas or special needs, please let us know. Custom-made products for allergy sufferers are also no problem.
