Slippery Elm bark 100g

Dogs per 10kg: 2x daily 10ml
Cats per 5kg: 2x daily 5ml

Mix 1 g of powder with approximately 60 ml of lukewarm water and let it swell for about 5 minutes. The elm bark will form a slight mucilage. You can draw up the elm bark mucilage in a syringe and administer it directly into the mouth or offer it with a small amount of particularly tasty food (e.g., our pill paste). Alternatively, you can mix the elm bark with one of our broths; this can also increase acceptance. If possible, administer the mucilage 30 minutes before regular feeding and do not mix it with regular food, as it can reduce nutrient absorption. It will also be less effective then.

If your pet needs quick relief, you can also give the slippery elm bark mucilage in the specified dosage 20 minutes before each feeding. In case of acute stomach irritation, you should then give many small portions of easily digestible food.
